I raised my children in Hood River in the 70’s and 80’s while operating local businesses. During the 70’s I was involved with Hood River Aircraft where my children learned to fly. It was a fantastic time in our lives and we worked on future plans for the airport. I have been flying for 48+ years during that time working as a commercial pilot and FBO operator at the McMinnville Airport, moving back to Hood River in 2009 to become Director of the Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum for the next 11 years. I love flying, airports, airplanes and the freedom of it. I would like to be a part of the next generation of pilots and local airports where the world learns to fly.
